The problem is easy to see. Proving we fix it is the hard part.

R47 is the research and product arm of RootBound Health, a clinic in Seattle. Our software, ANCHOR, keeps track of everything a hospital has promised a patient - the prescription, the referral, the follow-up call - and chases whatever slips.

What we think is defensible is the maths underneath: a way of measuring how close a patient is to something being missed, based on how these promises pile up and interact. It is fully designed and internally checked. It is not built yet, and we have not proven it helps patients.

The business does not depend on that landing first. The version that exists today already saves clinicians time on paperwork. Writing down every promise is the next step, and it builds the data we would need. Prediction only gets switched on after independent checks pass, and runs invisibly at first.

We operate a clinic, which is where most new clinical software stalls - nowhere to test. We can start proving this on ourselves.
